The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve the organic visibility and ranking of our website and digital content. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, analytics, and performance tracking, and will be able to drive traffic and engagement through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to guide content teams.
  • Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
  • Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success.
  • Execute link-building strategies and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO-specific tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with web developers and marketing teams to properly implement SEO best practices.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present SEO performance reports regularly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of keyword research, SEO copywriting, and the behaviors of search engines.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration like wordpress.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
